Move them to San Diego or Vancouver BC. Sterling is a scum bag, I can't imagine how it would be with an owner like that.

Actually it's more like Clippers Curse>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Blazers Curse

That franchise has made the play-offs a total of 4 times in the last 33 years - and only made it past the 1st round once. The Blazers have only missed the play-offs 6 times in that same 33-year span, won the finals once, made it to the finals two more times and advanced past the first round a total of 9 times. Our temporary (and historic) injury woes are nothing compared to what that franchise and it's fans have sufferred.

I can't wait for the (Clipper Season Ticker Holder) Bill Simmons article that claims that Blake will be back, better than ever next year, and that this is just bad break. Oh and that the Clippers were COMPLETELY justified in taking him over Tyreke Evans and Brandon Jennings, because you can't teach size and Griffen is "can't miss".

My personal theory is that every NBA city gets a certain amount of luck, both good and bad. You make it to the WCF, you make it on the police blotter. You get the #1 pick and a franchise center, the center has microfracture. You get the #3 pick in the Chris Paul draft, you draft Martell Webster.

The same holds true for LA. The only problem is that the luck isn't evenly divided between the two teams. You get one team that gets every possible piece of manna that falls from the sky, and another franchise that is inexplicably a sponge for bad karma.

The luckiest and unluckiest franchises in the league, sharing the same arena. If a toilet breaks and floods one spot, we all know whose locker room it'll be.

Actually, he wrote an entire piece about how the Clippers are cursed, and what bad luck it is for Griffin that they won the #1 pick.

I get what you're trying to say though.

This news concerns me for Oden's rehab prospects. How difficult is it to determine the healing rate of the patella if all signs pointed to Griffin being ahead of schedule, then two weeks later needing to go under the knife because it's healing too slow?

Did Griffin ever have any trouble with his knee before this year?

Simmons take was that Oden had one leg that was longer then the other which would cause him to be more fragile then he should have been. I don't recall anything similar being said about Blake Griffin.

As far as I know Griffin was a completely medical trouble free before joining the Clippers.

It could have been worse. He could have came back and tried to play on it despite any pain, and ended up doing what Joel did to himself.

You guys have it all wrong. It's not a Clippers curse; it's a ZBo curse.

-Team gets #1 pick in the lottery.
    -Picks franchise changing big man.
-Trades away Zach for pennies on the dollar to make room for said big man.
-Drafted big man out for the season with injury.

Did we trade away ZBo before Bill Walton went down?

    My reaction exactly.

Just watch. They will mush mouth around on Oden's condition for the next 6-8 months, then put him under the knife on the eve of next season. :sigh:

That would pretty much justify a "Hobbling" in my book. Time to break out a good piece of hickory and head down to the Rose Quarter. :devilwink:
