HAHAHA that last line is good. I was hoping he would see the guy writing the ticket and get it waived though =[
lol. "Rudylicious"? Common sense says that Rudy is the logical guy to trade when he's back to 100%. He only plays SG, so he'll forever be behind Roy. A lot of teams would value him for his three point shooting ability, not to mention his marketability. With his high-wire dunks and his good looks, if you have a team like the Bucks and not much to sell them on, Rudy might put some fans in the seats. We could definitely get some good value for him. But I pity the Blazers' marketing department on the day they ship him out.
It's good to see Rudy's happy to be a Blazer - I hope it stays that way. This guy has to play or be traded - no more 12-15 minute outings (once he gets back in game shape) He didn't look too happy earlier in the year. I don't know how Nate is going to find minutes for all of the guards. Well I guess the answer is that he is NOT b/c it's impossible. You have to play Rudy and Bayless though. We aren't going to win a title this year, and Blake may not even be around next season. The Blazers team offense is flowing really well right now (defense is another story) We've shot 50%+ in 5 straight games - when was the last time that happened? The small line-ups have opened things up. We've seen flashes of Rudy making great passes or getting back-door. We might see more of that now than we did before . . . but he has to be out there to make it happen.
I don't see him being traded if they want to do it right. Quit fucking around with guys like Blake and let our talented guards gel before the playoffs.
I would like to see a Roy/Rudy backcourt pairing for a few games before they decide it would never work and ship Rudy out.
Yah, we should do it for like, 15 minutes, and it doesn't work trade him!!! Cause you know, a few games was obviously enough to see that Roy and Andre Miller couldn't work and thank god we traded away Andre asap!
