I don't really see this as relevent. Travis might be back a few weeks before the season ends. I believe it is a contract year. Enough said.
Outlaw and JP can play at the same time, so this question is moot. However, I think a Power Forward should be powerful. Outlaw isn't. JP is.
I did pose the question for the poll "who should be our back up pf?" But yeah, TrOut is a good back up SF.
just to be clear, you think Jeff Pendergraph is not even close to Travis Outlaw as a back up Power Forward?
Pendergraph FTW! He brings that nastiness we haven't had since Dale Davis. His game was made for the NBA. I can see him being starters material down the road. Though, that wont happen in Portland but it'll sure be nice to have him coming off the bench playing 25+ min. backing up both LMA and Greg. At 6'10" 250 lbs. with this athletic ability, I like his potential.
With our second unit going small T-Law and JP can work. In fact, I think our bench will be a beast when everyone gets healthy. PG: Bayless SG: Rudy SF: Batum (or Webs) PF: Outlaw C: Pendergraph This unit is made for the SSOL tempo.
