Joel is the better shotblocker but Juwan provides more offense and almost as many rebounds as a starter. Just saying...
Joel without a doubt. Even if the rebounding numbers look similar, Joel is a far greater rebounder and is also far greater on defense. Offense: Juwan > Joel Defense: Joel > Juwan Rebounding: Joel > Juwan Overall: Joel > Juwan
Not really thinking this is a good thread. Joel's a great backup center. Howard is a great veteran presence. They have two completely different roles.
Przybilla PER: 11.3 TRB%: 21.5 DRtg: 101 BLK%: 4.9 Howard PER: 10.5 TRB%: 12.4 DRtg: 108 BLK%: 0.8 Pryzbilla quite easily.
Juwan does not provide anything approximating Joel's rebounding ability. Ridiculous. As for the overall premise in your post, what's the point? There is no choice; Joel is out, Juwan is doing all he can to play center at 6'9" and that's that. Even the question is idiotic, Juwan is probably going to retire in one more year max, and Joel's recovery is still very much up in the air.
way to dumb down the boards...again whos a better bball player...Lebron or Wayne Gretzky?
I own you. Juwan Howard is a former All Star basketball player. And Joel is no LeBron. As a starter, Juwan is almost grabbing as many rebounds as Joel was and he is scoring more. It's a legit topic for discussion. You're the one dubbing down the boards with personal attacks. Oh, by the way, the Grizzlies are 22-18, having won 21 of their last 31 games. Not an NBA story? Hahahaha. They're quietly becoming THE story of the year.
Trust me Eric, nobody gives a shit about this stuff, it's fluff and filler -- cotton candy for the brain without the pleasant sugar rush
Answer the question without making personal attacks or get the fuck out. Seriously. I'm 17 and I can see how childish some of you are being.
