Now that I'm sober, I don't even remember yesterday.

Ugh, what the fuck is it with this team? They have the talent, but I question the coaching.

I severely underrated the Jets' and their defense, TBH. I thought there was no way they were going to shut us down, not with all our weapons. Not once did I see Turner try utilizing Sproles out of the back field, not once did he consistently go to Gates who was getting w/e he wanted, not once did he go to Floyd. He seemed like he was forcing to get the run going in the first half, why? We aren't a running team. He didn't take shots downfield like he had all year long. He let the Jets' D control the flow of the game.

The penalties also killed us. We were so un-Charger-like yesterday. I've never seen this team commit so many stupid penalties. False starts, delay of games, personal fouls...we haven't done that all year. The team wasn't prepared. Honestly, I think they overlooked the Jets for Indy next week. That was pitiful.

The coordination of our team was off, too. That 2nd pick thrown by Rivers' was the most bizarre play I think I've seen all year. Usually Gates and Rivers' are on the same page, they're best friends. On 3rd down, Gates usually runs up and in's/out's, but for some reason he continued running straight and never turned around. I suspect he ran the wrong route because Rivers' doesn't usually miss-fire like that. However, Rivers' could've overthrown Jackson there, as well.

And fuck Nate Kaeding. The most accurate kicker in FG regular season history. The fucking worst in post season history. I can't see any reason to bring this clown back when we know he's now blown two games against the Jets' in the playoffs for us. Despite how bad we looked yesterday, people shouldn't put this loss past Kaeding. He missed a 40 yarder, a 37 yarder, and understandably a 57 yarder. That is 6 points for sure that were thrown away. Horrible.

It is time to cut ties with LT. He's done. There is no reason to pay him his $2 million roster bonus. We need to find a RB in the draft that can step in and be an impact player. We don't need a 1600 yard back, but we need someone who can keep teams respectable and worry about the run so Rivers' can continue to pick teams apart. We need a big back capable of running inside and capable of taking an every down pounding.

And we need a fucking kicker.

With another year wasted, I still feel good about our future if we get a RB in there. Our window is just opening with Rivers, Gates, Jackson, and Floyd. LT's window may have shut, but the Chargers' window is opening. I think with some more seasoning and a few extra pieces, this team has the capabilities to pull it all off.

With that said, I've moved on and it is now Lakers' season :]

I don't remember the Chargers ever throwing a screen pass to Sproles or trying to run LT wide. Every run seemed to be up the middle by SD yesterday.

I still want to see the Colts and Saints in the Superbowl.

Sproles had a 20+ yard play late in the game....when they were trying to come back

This reminds me of the Patriots game a couple of years ago. You guys had it, but fucked it up in the end.

The Chargers have blown so many opportunities (reminds me of the Eagles). You guys have so much talent on the roster. Honestly, when I look at you guys, I don't see many weaknesses. I think in the offseason, you'll have to address your RB position (make a decision on LT). I guess you guys could upgrade your D-line, maybe your secondary, but beyond that, this is a team that should've made it to the Superbowl.

I think your biggest weakness is your coach. I still to this day cannot understand the Norv Turner hiring. If you're so close to a Superbowl, why go out and hire a proven loser to lead your team? It seems like your playcalling was pretty bad, and obviously you guys were not prepared heading into the game. Look at Rex Ryan and what he's gotten out of the Jet's team, he would've been the perfect coach for you guys, and you guys had the opportunity to hire him, but chose Norv.

It's just sad to see so much talent being wasted. LT's a good dude, I was rooting for him to win one, or at least come somewhat close. The closest the Chargers have come to a Superbowl was when he was out injured, which is sad.

The first play of the game was a sweep that LT picked up 5 yards on. That was the one and only run outside that I remember. Every thing else was up the middle. He is a master through the air, idiot on the ground.
