Actually, I think he would would look pretty good next to Brandon Roy Also, concerning Evans vs. Rubio. See, if I was our GM, we'd have both Tyreke Evans AND DeJuan Blair. BNM
The would have been something. But I have no idea how you would have been able to dived into the lotto for Evans. We just didn't have an opportunity to get him, IMO.
Yeah, a month and a half before the draft, I thought Evans would go in the 7 - 12 range - and even then, we would have had to give up a lot to get him. Blair, on the other hand, like Millsap could have been ours for nothing. We passed on both multiple times. BNM
Speaking of last years draft does anyone have an update on Claver? At the time of the pick I was concerned it was a total waste. I am wondering if anything has happened recently to make me rethink my position. I love what JP and DC are bringing to the team but missing on Blair was a bone headed move. As one commentator put it; so what if he only plays 2 to 4 years in the league while being a rebounding machine. That's way more then you would get out of the typical 2nd round draft pick.
