Bourdain went to Turkey yesterday.

    Check it:

Gotta say, I'm understanding the rationale behind Greedo's wife choosing TOR a bit more after seeing Turkish cuisine.

I used to eat at Les Halles when I lived in Manhattan. They opened one in DC, but it wasn't as good.

Bourdain is freaking hilarious. Kitchen Confidential should be required reading for anyone who eats out often. I try to never miss a show. My favorite was Angola when he ate boar anus with the Kalahari Bushmen.

I used to catch it religiously, but then he got too much on tangents and things started to look more and more staged for dramatic effect. I liked "A Cook's Tour" MUCH better.

Easily one of my favorite shows on TV. Never miss a new episode.

I met Bourdain a few years ago when he did a book signing for his Les Halles cookbook.

I did not see the Turkey episode yet, but Turkey has fantastic food and is a lot of fun to visit. The only places in that region where better food is made is Greece and Cyprus.
