He found this floating around the 'net............

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel "
pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you
    to the promised land".

Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said, " Lay down your shovels, sit on
your asses, and light up a camel, this is the promised land".

Now Obama has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price
of camels and mortgaged the promised land!

I was so depressed last night thinking about Health Care Plans, the
economy, the wars, lost jobs, Savings, Social Security, retirement
funds, etc . . . I called Lifeline. Got a freakin' call center in
Pakistan . I told them I was suicidal.

They all got excited and asked if I could drive a truck....

I hate shit like that floating around the net. Inevitably, it ends up in a stupid email forward. And I get it from a relative I seldom talk to, adn they think it's just the funniest thing. Yawn.

ugh same here, one of my "buddies" is constantly sending me chain mail text things.

"make a wish and then send this to 10 people and it will come true!"
"if you dont the opposite will happen!"

    fuck him.

yeah, I answered one of those once.

I forwarded it to everyone I knew, within the specified time.

I wished I wouldn't get any more email forwards.

    My wish didn't come true.

If those chain letters were true, I would have died like 10 years ago.

So what. I still think it's funny.

I could have sworn this was an O/T area of a message board. Guess I was wrong.

Yep, she does. Makes about $10-12K per year writing. As to our total income of $70-72K per year, I honestly don;t know where that puts us. Lower middle class? Solid middle class? Classless???

I wonder how much money it would have been if all the stimulus and bailout checks for the unions, banks and other businesses came to us (us being US citizens), how much per person it would amount to.

I sent an email to everyone in my mailbox telling them that if they didn't want their chains to be broken, they had better not send them to me. I'm a chain killer. I will forward something funny, something interesting, but NEVER a chain letter.:tsktsk:
