Tyreke Evans is good but he's boring! Something about his game is so unattractive. Am I wrong? I think I'm basing this on a very, very small sample size.
Love Curry. The way he shoots, silky smooth, the way he glides around the court. Of course, now the W's will make some stupid trade dealing him to get some worn-out superstar who just wants a paycheck or to get out (Amare? Bosh? Tyrus Thomas?)

The time to do the trade for Amare was when we still had Jackson, Crawford and Belinelli. We still would've had Monta. It's too late now. We'll end up being the New Jersey Nets West if you do that trade now. Hes on the rookie team. Seems like most think hes also the #2 ROY candidate to Tyfreak. For January hes averaging 19.7, 4.7 rpg, 4.6 apg, 1.9 spg on 48% FG, 48% 3 pt FG, 86% FT. In his last 5 games its 25 ppg 5.8 reb, 5.4 ast, 1.8 steals. Good draft pick by Nelly/Riley?
Wow Jordan Hill? Thank goodness. Looking at the whole rookie class right now, there's not anyone I'd rather have, including Evans and Jennings.
Hell yeah, he's perfect for this team, plays beyond his years, and plays the right way. We finally have a fundamentally-sound player, for the first time in, well, a very long time, it feels like...
I wanted them to draft Curry at the time and I'm very, very happy with the pick. That said, I would swap him for Evans or Griffin right now if I had the chance. Curry is making me feel better about missing out on Rubio though.
Agree with most of you guys but you'd still keep Curry over Tyreke? I was pimping Tyreke long before the draft and I was really not a fan of this pick so I could be biased. But having seen Curry I wouldn't trade him for anyone else in the draft class except Tyreke or Blake Griffin. Even when Brandon Jennings was killing I liked Curry more than him because hes so much more efficient and more of a ball-mover. Dude crashes the boards hard and hes top 5 in the league in steals.
Harden's okay but Curry can create his shot and he looks to get his teammates the ball as well. He just needs to finish a little better in the lane. Aside from a dominant 4 or 5, the PG is the next most valuable guy and we finally have one.
I'd say Harden is better at getting his own shot than Curry. Dude is already a handful driving to the basket and gets a lot of FTs. Agree with you though. Harden could be a really nice SG but I'd rather have the PG...especially the one who's capable of dropping 30 pts, spreading the floor with a deadly outside shot, playing good defense in addition to creating for others and making the right passes.
I would trade Curry for Blake Griffin, as mentioned above, but I wouldn't trade him for Tyreke Evans. I don't like Tyreke Evans. I don't like the way he chews gum. There's just something a bit too cocky about him for a first year player. It's not the confidence -- all great players have confidence from day 1 -- but it's the casual demeanor. Some of his plays, like the previous game against the Warriors when he threw the win away by making two turnovers the last 1:30 by carelessly going behind his back... I want a guy with his body and talent who is also a tireless student of the game, humble, and wanting to get better. I just don't see it in Tyreke. I honestly think he'll always be limited by his character... I just don't see him having the self-reflection to truly get better and become great. He'll always be good because of his body and athletic ability... but his growth will be limited by his mindset... This just based on everything I've seen so far... I think Tyreke has come into the league as a very good player... but I honestly think he's not far from his plateau... 20/5/5 are great numbers for a rookie... but it's not like Sacramento is suddenly in the PO race... and I don't see him getting that much better... Curry, on the other hand, will just steadily climb throughout his first 5 years... how far, who knows, but he just has that mindset, that mentality... it seems... He has a lot more room to grow and get better... I think Curry will be more valuable to the Warriors than Tyreke would have been...
