Looks like Roy should have sat tonight.

Re-injures his hammy tonight. Damn it! Obviously he wasn't healed as he claimed. Should we have kept him on the bench?

Yep. Roy shouldn't be so stubborn in regard to getting back on the court when he isn't healthy. He should be truthful about his injuries. The coaches/doctors will take it from there- if they don't think he is fit to play, he should just rest up. This may jeopardize our long-term success. If only we had a time machine...

Probably. Hammies are hard to predict sometimes though. Dealing with a good strain of my own currently actually. They'll be more careful now probably.

    I'll echo what LameR said...

A few years back I partially tore my right Hammy. Didn't need surgery but I couldn't do any activity for a couple months.

About a month in I was literally feeling back to perfect again, even being able to spring and explode off of it, but when it came to changing directions and doing other little movements it felt like it was completely torn.

It's hard to blame Brandon, because I can definitely see how he might feel like he's ok and as we all know he's a tough competitor. BUT I'd say that if he WAS feeling anything pregame he definitely should have sat...

with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight sure, but this is the sort of injury a player has to test to see if it's still an issue. In my experience it's important to back off of using it ASAP after it rears back up. It seemed like BR stopped pushing it as soon as he felt something so hopefully he didn't tweak it that much.

How long do you think he'll be out this time? Another week? I hope he heals really fast.

Missed the first half . . . how bad was the reaggravation?

Did he go up and cruble in pain? Did he pull up gingerly and limp off?

At this point I'll take best guesses. Days, weeks . . . after all star break?

I'd be willing to bet they'll be a bit more cautious this time. However, it's tough to keep your franchise player off of the court if he feels alright and the team is lacking centers.

More "B". He pushed off of it to make a leaner and came down wincing. He played on for a possession but then was taken out. Pretty obvious that it was hurting him and I'm sure it's tightened up after sitting. I'd bet he's back to square one and will have to miss at least a week, probably two.

He shot a running jumper and landed on his right leg, I think. He landed on his feet, but grabbed at his hamstring. He kind of limped off into the locker room.

According to the 5th Quarter show, Wheels just texted into the show that Roy was limping noticeably leaving the arena. He is listed as day to day right now. Crap!

Damn. It sounds like it is worse than ever right now . . . don't remember him limping around even when pulled from that one game.
