The Celtics certainly don't look like an Eastern power to me. Even Atlanta is better than them.

I agree. Although, it has mostly been injury issues. They had the best record before KG, Pierce, Sheed missed time. I'm excited about what they can do in the playoffs at full strength. Marquis Daniels plays a big role, too. We need him back. I just hope we don't have to go through Atlanta in a 7 game series.

The better teams don't use injuries as excuses. But, I hear ya.

like any of the elite teams the Celts will need their guys healthy to be at their best. KG may have been on the floor, but he didn't seem near full steam and he's their main cog.

Like the Spurs, I see the Celtics as a somewhat aging, injury-prone team. (Like, I should talk, ;) .)

Man, you must really hate the Celtics then. What an incredibly collection of whiners - they whine even when the call goes their way. You have TWO players leading the league in technicals.

Excellent effort by the Blazers against the Celts. Kudos to every single Blazer participant, including Nate and the other Coaches.

I'm proud of this team and glad to say I'm a fan of such resilient team. This type of togetherness is why I'm not in favor of a trade of one of our keys guys and feel this team when healthy can do some serious damage. We just took a team with three hall of famers to overtime in their house. Andre Miller is an introvert, but a helluva player and someone I want having this teams back for years to come.

I've had a few Busch latte's tonight and some fine grade Northwest weed, so lets see if my opinion is the same in about t-minus 8 hours.

The team played hard, I am proud of them for that.

But the play that completely blew me away was when Rudy decided to not stick on Ray Allen like glue, and try to cheat behind the screen. Really Rudy? Have you watched the NBA in the last decade at all? That is Ray Allen. You don't even let him catch the ball with the game on the line. WTF man. That was some of the poorest defense, ever.

I replayed the Rudy foul at the end of OT. Even though Allen made contact with Rudy, it was after the shot had been hoisted. Therefore, I say no harm, no foul. It's just the way it is. Besides, Miller had already drawn the charge on Pierce to send it to OT. There's no way the refs pull their whistles twice in those situations.

Let's just get the one in Detroit for a 2-2 split.

Yup, I don't like their whining, either. Every player does it, though. Perkins is bad. Rasheed is pretty bad, but at this point, his reputation gets him half of his techs.
