I drank so much fucking Stumptown, I decided to branch out so I'm currently on a whirlwind tour of all the random coffee roasters in Portland.

Black coffee is the only way to go. If I'm feeling fruity I'll pop a cardamom pod or a quarter of a cinnamon stick into the french press.

Coffee not only makes me feel like I could throw a bear off a cliff, but that I should.

    It's a joke. :)

Actually, I personally enjoy Tully's Breakfast Blend, home-ground and straight-up.

I am cliche. I like White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks and the Milky Way from Black Rock. Both hot or cold. Both delicious!

If I could rep over and over and over, I would have for this post.

I love coffee. I don't care if it is bad for me. It is a pleasure of life.

I don't drink coffee often, but if I do, I go for something more on the sweet side and less on the strong coffee taste side. I go to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

I had a great aunt who resided in Utah and like more then a few of my relatives, lived to be 100 years old. Being interviewed by the local paper she sited "starting each day with a strong cup o Jo" to reaching that milestone... of course she was tweaking the locals

I have a single half & half/hint of sugar cappuccino produced by my Gaggia Classic every morning when I'm home and a small cup of whole bean black everywhere else. Everyone is different but for me this is one of those things I can enjoy in moderation. I do love my cup :morningtime:

I'm thinking of getting a drip coffee again, it just takes too long for me in the AM to do a french press when I'm rushing like a chicken with my head cut off in the AM

I can't see it taking that much more time to do FP though? Unless you set everything up for the drip machine the night before.

They have single cup coffee machines, but they're spendy if you want a good one.

I'd rather have the $20 FP:)

I just wash the grounds out down the sink. Been doing it for over a year in the same sink with no problems. I don't have a garbage disposal though.

I would take a quality coffee french pressed, over it being dripped any day of the week.

you ought to throw the grounds in the trash if it's clogging it.

paper towel, wipe out the inside into the trash. quick rinse. I wash with soap probably every three uses or so and that takes 30 seconds.
