Is thank god we didnt trade for Prince this past summer. Man what the hell happened to him? I know he's been hurt but wow he looked bad. I was hoping he would shoot every time.

It was his 2nd game back from being injurred - that's what happened. Although I'm not sure the guy isn't damaged goods at this point.

I agree with you on this one MIXUM. That would have been a horrible trade. There have been very few suggested trades on this site that I would be in favor of actually.

Webster has really stepped up his game. I always thought he could do it, and now he is. He's still a young player and has quite a bit of upside.

In recent weeks the emergence of Martell an Andre, and even more recently LA's resurgence have been the difference in this team staying afloat. Before that Roy had pretty much been carrying us.

Martell seems to have overcome the biggest obstacle of his career . . . Martell. Whatever voices he heard in his head, fear of failure, unsure of himself type insecurities he had appear to be a thing of the past. He still has some deficiencies in his game, but he's shooting the ball with confidence and he's really making his defensive match-up personal each night. If he plays like this until April, could be most improved in the league.

Yeah, but those of us that wanted to trade for G. Wallace were certainly right to say that Batum was a small price to pay. He's exploded this season.

So you no longer think that Webster "sucks balls"? Or, does Webs just not suck balls as much as MW?

It's ironic that a year ago many here would have orgasmed to get Prince and would given up Webs (with others) in heartbeat - I wonder how many feel that way now.

I'd offer that Webs is exploding as well (not at Wallace's level but then again Webs is 23) and with Batum back we will have a dynamic duo at SF for many years, I am very happy with what we have. And can Wallace hit the 3 at all? And Web's D is pretty darn good.

thats what im saying... imagine webbs at SG and batum at SF... lock down defense at 2 key positions with oden (IF HEALTHY) at center. lots of blocks.

nah... if we make a trade we need a big man. SF isnt close to a priority when your center is oden. a good backup is an absolute must have.

Webster has been playing out of his mind. I was so bummed last year when he got injured, I really felt like he was poised to break out.

With Batum back there might be a little time crunch, but their strenghts offset eachothers weaknesses so well that I dont think it will be much of an issue.

everyone mocked me when i said webby was becoming a great defender before his injury. i read it in numerous magazines and on many websites. his game just needs more getting to the basket. hes a deadly shooter, plays great defense, rebounds well, has hops, steals

if/when he learns a mid range shot he will be a monster to defend.

This is why players with back injuries are a bad gamble. Larry Johnson, Kiki, Peja, the list goes on and on.... and now Prince. Next up - Rudy?

you were??? Crash has played great this year no doubt, hell I've openly wanted him for years now... but to claim this matter is settled is a very short sited outlook. The goal is to win a championship. I doubt GW would have put the club over the top last year or this so...
