I have allways liked him. I like how he plays basketball. He runs the plays, plays hard, wants to win, isn't affraid of contact, goes for every rebound, sets picks, shoots, and plays physical. He doesn't have to have the ball, but he earns it. He is really a great behind the sences player in my opinion. I think he would go great with just about any team. He has had a really good playoffs series so far (Although he missed that three to win the game).
He also had a nice run at the end of the season, getting like 15 double doubles out of like 18 games..
dang the bulls are loaded w/ young superstars.. kirk/gordon/nocioni.. just give them time they're gonna be great.. compare his numbers now w/ his regular season.. 13-6? wow. now he's 23-10. amazing improvement.. probably from the extra playing time and his amazing hustle.
He's a big time player in important games man. I remember he was great in the playoffs last year as well and had one game of like 25 points and 18 rebounds. He is a good player. Chicago is gunna be incredible in about 3-4 years if they keep the core of Hinrich, Deng, Nocioni, Gordon, Duhon, and Chandler. Mike Sweetney is decent too (but he needs to lose a lot of weight).
Chandler hasn't had a good season and isn't the "Box score" player that some others are, but he has been the man in the playoffs so far. Mike is a good low post player at times. He has some nice moves and can get the job done down low on offense, but he can have problems finishing at the hoop and his defense is pretty slow. I agree, he needs to shed a few pounds.
This guy is a beast. Its that simple. He is an excellent rebounder and can score also. Gives 100 % every time he is out on the court and he is a guy who i think COULD be considered the bulls best player.
Yeah he's doing good. But I've always had a grudge against him he plays overly aggresive and a last year he got a flagrant foul for doing something to Tayshaun, I can't remember. But Tayshaun was about to kill him. He is a raw talent though.
He has hit some big shots this year for the Bulls. He is going to develop into something really good.
