<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Raja Bell has been suspended for one game for "unnecessary and excessive contact" with the Lakers' Kobe Bryant during Tuesday night's Game 5 in Phoenix. The Suns' guard traveled with the team to Los Angeles, but will miss Game 6 in the first-round series.</div>What I want to know is how much he got paid to clothesline the best basketball player in the NBA.If he did it for free, I have something to say to him.Raja, who do you think you are. So you are down 3 games to 1, but you have a nice lead. You want to take out the best player in the NBA. That's low. And Pathetic. I lost respect for you.You could have at least said sorry....... :no3:
You want to know what kind of apology Raja Bell gave?<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>San Jose Mercury News - On Wednesday, Raja Bell called Kobe Bryant "a pompous and arrogant individual. I have no respect for him.""When I get hit in the face multiple times you crossed the line with me. That's not basketball," Bell said. "It's a personal thing when someone continually hits you in the face. He tried to bully me."Bell went on to say that, "there doesn't seem to be any boundaries or limitations to what he (Bryant) can do to me."Comments by Lakers' head coach Phil Jackson also angered Bell. He said that when he complained to an official in the fourth quarter about Bryant's wayward elbows, Jackson told him, "You (expletive-deleted) deserved it.""I thought that was kind of bush-league from such a good coach," Bell said. "That was enough for me."Source: http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews...ts/14493197.htm</div>
A little bad blood mixing between Raja and the Laker organization. If Raja went to Miami, that would be a better rivalry. Shaq vs. KobePat vs. PhilRaja vs. KobeThat would be nuts. Good thing I have an imagination.
If we lose the next game I wish he really would have given something to be suspended for. He should have done that harder, asked Nash to hold Kobe's mouth open and sh*t in it....lolSo who wants a bet that there will be a brawl before this series is over?

Kobe was still on the floor when Nash was there...That's always called a charge, except when it's Kobe.

Actually, ArizonaFan is right... look at Frame 8... Nash's feet are set and Kobe is still on the ground. You don't have to be all set, as long as you're feet are there, it is a charge.
His foot is touching the line. But that could just be because the photos are blury. Also they won that game by more than 2 points so it doesn't matter.
I actually praise Raja for doing that to Kobe. Kobe is so arrogant when he plays basketball. He seems to get away with every contact. Raja was probably in the heat of the game and just decided to give Kobe some of his own medicine. Brave move by that young man. Their gonna miss his defense next game though.

29 isnt a young man? I think it was very brave. No one else would dare to do that to someone like Kobe. I am sure Kobe has elbowed him in the past and he just gave Kobe what he deserved. That was just sending a message to him.
