That's a great move by Martell. The Blazers could really make some news with this if they all decided to do it. The team could match and give an extra $1 for everyone in attendance if they score over 100 instead of a chalupa, tonight.

 

I actually wish the Blazers would change it so they only give out Chalupas if they hold the opponent under 100 points.

 

I have always been a proponent of 10 fast break points get you chalupas....The team would save a ton in food costs alone.

 

Anything that stresses defense instead of forcing a shot is a good idea IMO.

 

I say that each blazer has to eat one chalupa after each game for each missed FT or turnover!

 

Oooh that is a good one. That would definitly cut down on the misses. But if some Blazers missed a free throw, they might be on IR due to stomach virus the next game...

 

Not that I want it to happen at all, but watch, the inconsistent Martell shows up tonight and doesn't do much scoring wise. That would be kind of sad considering the nice thing he is doing.

My first thought was that his teammates would try to set him up as much as possible in an attempt to cost him as much money as possible, for the fun of it. Also that it would be great if he scored 50.

 

What if he goes for 81 tonight?
