Absolutely not. Who would he play over and who would the Blazers have to give up to get him?

    Bad answers to both questions.

We've gone from 20+ to 30+ to 40+ to 50+ wins the last four seasons. I don't think we need any luck.

In spite of all of our bad luck (no team has ever been more devastated by injuries in any league in any year), we continue to win.

What I would like to see is a trade for a Center, like Pryzbilla/Pendergraph/Miller for Elton Brand, or Outlaw/Pendergraph/Pryzbilla/1st Round pick for Marc Gasol.

Those deals I would make as we have Patty Mills, Blake, Bayless, Rudy, and Roy as Guards after Miller is gone, and we have no need for Outlaw because we have a better player in Batum with Webster as a backup, and we don't need Pryzbilla and someone else gets to get his salary relief after next season, while we add two players with inside games both Offensively and Defensively, allowing the Blazers to not have to rely on a healthy Oden in the future. Philly (and Memphis) gets an outstanding young Power Forward in Pendergraph and a still very good Andre Miller, whom they had just a short time ago. Memphis gets one of the best 4th Quarter clutch shooters in the game in Outlaw, and since they don't play defense anyway, they don't care about Outlaws defensive flaws.

You'd rather have Brand than Amare? Brand isn't that much bigger, actually I think Amare is bigger than Brand, probably more of a centre too.

and costlier (like I said before).

We got exactly the perfect player and got rid of exactly the perfect players.

Batum gets to (if Nate gets out of his way) our Small Forward for the next 8 years, and Bayless and Rudy and Miller get Blake's playing time, and we improve our interior defense and improve our Rebounding. A win-win-win-win-win situation for the Blazers. Maybe one lose. We lost a 4th Quarter clutch shooter in Outlaw, but someone other than Roy will step up. We'll find out who that player is over the next 2 months. I think it will be Miller. And, this will always be argued, but Batum is the 2nd best player on the Blazers after Roy. He is a Championship Piece. LaMarcus is solid, but Batum is more important.
