I am dreaming one day of a lineup of Bayless, Roy, Batum, Aldridge and Oden. All the defense you could ask for. All the offense you could ask for. All the lane penetration you could ask for. All of the paint scoring you could ask for. All of the shooting you could ask for. That day is far off, when Blake is gone, and all are healthy. But it is coming. And I look forward to it.

Just think about the back up. It could be Patty Rudy Webster Cunningham Pendergraph.

Yep or Miller in a backup role. He is getting older. The last few games, he has looked tired and worn out. That's what 3 games in 4 nights does to an older player.

the Miller/Webster/Batum lineup seemed to do OK with Batum guarding Deron.

Yep it did. You could even throw Roy in there and go super big. You know how I love the big lineups that we never get to see (like Rudy and Roy in the back court). I am all for going big, and causing problems other teams can't deal with well. Miller or Roy, I am good with it.

Batum = PGOTF. 2011 starting lineup--Batum, Roy, Webster, Aldridge, Oden. Reserves Bayless, Rudy, Dante, Pendergraph. Put it on the board--Hushmazilly...championship!

I love how he slows down to let Korver catch up in hopes of a foul.

    THAT was Pippen-esque.

Boob-No-More's daughter isn't the only one who has a picture of Nic on their nightstand.

He's dreamy! He's been probably my favourite player since about midseason last year. Not the best player on the Blazers, of course, but I just love his game.

Pippen is my favourite player ever. I really like players who are in control, versatile and have defensive flair and smooth, athletic games on offense.

I have never heard a sustained continuous booing of the officials as long as the one last night. It started right after everyone saw the replay at the end of the quarter and it went loud and continuously until a minute into the first quarter. I mean, it didn't stop. It would die down just a bit, and then ramp up again. It was like 5 minutes straight of booing. And rightfully so. The refs certainly didn't lose us the game, but they were still God awfully biased in the first quarter.

A name that is not mentioned very often as a Nic comparison is Kirilenko. I think they're awfully similar.

I was going to say that last night, actually. He's going to be like the early 2000's AK47.

AK47/Bobby Jones (from the 70's) type of SF. An All-Star down the road.

That's why I said early-2000's. He was a beast then. The past few years he went from All-Star to mediocre over night.

What fun is it to be a fan and constantly bitch about the uncertain?

Being a fan is lame. I've always felt it's better to have mild contempt for the team and its players, to show your objectivity.

And, after all...life is suffering. You're very Buddhist, MIXUM.

I have a little white ivory carving of Mixum sitting in lotus position, and I rub his fat little tummy for good luck.
