Wrong, he was hired to be an updgrade over Steve Blake - which he obviously is in spite of a pig headed coach (and a few posters) who can't see the obvious.

You guys are hilarious with how you think everything is so simple. I guess he and Roy were tag teaming that pooch because Roy wasn't too comfortable with how he and Miller were playing together in October. Sometimes it takes a little more than telling your super star "too fucking bad-make it work".

Getting comfortable takes time. How many minutes did Roy and Miller actually play together in October? Miller and Roy were never given a chance to get comfortable before Nate decided Blake was starting and Miller coming off the bench. Miller only started in 2 of Portland's 8 preseason games.

For all the talk about how "uncomfortable" Roy was playing with Miller, he didn't play any better with Blake at that time. Roy got off to a slow start in the preseason. He wasn't making his shots. In the first five preseaon games Roy shot poorly and only averaged 10 PPG - three of those games were with Blake starting. Yet, for some reason Andre Miller was the scape goat for Roy's slow start.

Now that Roy and Miller have had a couple weeks starting together at their natural positions to get comfortable, both are playing great. It's just two bad those couple of weeks didn't happen back in October or early November.

Ok KingSpeed, base everything off of one game.

This place is turning into a cesspool.

In all fairness, 10 assists, 2 steals, 5 boards and a -5 (best of the 5 starters).

    Hello darkness, my old friend
When a point guard's "bad game" features 10 assists, that is quite a good point guard. Good point.

Miller with another poor game last night. The guy isn't that good and I'm surprised many of you don't realize this.

I was at that game. The only time the team played well, and the only time they made a run, was when Andre was in there.

There was once sequence where Blake jacked up shots four trips down in a row. He got yanked and didn't play for almost 25 game minutes.

So he's better than Blake? That's reassuring.
