Iverson is hungry, but he has repeatedly said he doesn't want to go somewhere and be a ring-chaser like Karl Malone, GP, etc. (he said their names and called them out). But then again, he really has no control over whether he'll be traded or not, but I'm sure he'll have some control over where he will be traded to, sort of like Shaq.
The Timberwolves owner has said that he will try to get Stephon Marbury from the Knicks if New York pays part of his salary or takes on our bad contracts (Hudson, Jaric). The team is also prepared to make an offer for Allen Iverson, which would be amazing to see an Iverson and Garnett combo here in Minnesota.Garnett wants more help, there is no doubt about that. However, I do not think he will want to go ring chasing, either. It just would not be the same. He has put so much work and so much time into this city and this franchise that leaving it and starting over in a new place where he would one of the pieces instead of the man. The fans of his new team would celebrate with him but they wouldn't be the same as Timberwolves fans. The fans that have been with him for 11 years and the fans that have been through the Marbury heartbreak, the first round exits, the Joe Smith scandel, the Malik Sealy tragedy and the dissapointing 04-05 season. It just wouldn't be the same.
I could see Iverson leaving but not KG. Iverson pissed a lot of people off showing up late on Fan appreciation day. He has been around for a long time, he is a bi tof a ball hog, he shoots a low percentage, he is getting older and he has a huge contract and they also missed the playoffs this year when they had a lot of talent on that squad. Allen will get the blame for it and he will probably be traded.KG on the other hand has done nothing wrong. He had a decent year considering the guys they put around him. Ricky Davis will help him out next year but they have to add another piece. Maybe Jason Terry or someone. But they need to add another 15-20 ppg on that team or else KG has no chance of being succesful. He is the most talented big in the game and he is not THAT old. They wont drop him yet. He could be like Reggie Miller and spend his whole career in Wolf land.

I see Iverson maybe leaving but who to? KG will stay but he needs another player that can help him out and davis just isnt doing it.
