Just saw the mid season grades on nba.com, was expecting like an A- for our front court cause Bosh and Bargs were owning, but then i sadly remembered Hedo was also part of the front line
lol so true, but those two do deserve an A-. Anyway I don't see us winning tonight, B2B on the road versus a team who has a 'star' that got snubbed for the All-Star game and we beat them there before. I see a loss, sadly.
weems need to be in control, kinda like they way he played last night. i thought he was the best player on the floor in the first quarter not named dwayne wade.
bosh is totally forcing it and him being triple teamed on every touch is making it blatantly obvious.
props to the ref for calling the offensive foul at the end of the game against the knicks on their own home court. that my forum associates- takes ballz!!!
a followup on bosh's play- he shot a horrible percentage from the floor, committed 6 turnovers and had no assists. i kinda can excuse the turnovers because of the triple teams thrown his way but him forcing shots almost cost us the game.
Bosh was mugged the whole fourth quarter... especially the last score he had... so it should even out, because that was not a charge. Jack jumped in Harrington's way. Hedo put a solid game together. Our point guard defense continues to be our Achilles. Antonie Wright making a case. I thought the Raptors did well coping with the Knicks hot shooting in the early parts of the game. Showed composure, closed the gap, and eventually muscled out a win. Gallanari is a lights-out shooter, wow... probably a better 3p shooter than Bargs.
After the game Jack asked Hedo what the key to his game was... all he said was "ball." Jack paused, waited, hoping he'd elaborate... nope. Hedo is strange.
I think Hedo wanted to say Ball-rritoes, but then just stopped after the first syllable because he was memorized by the thought. There's gonna be some lucky burrito joint in NYC tonight.
