One hundred fake plastic pennies for only $4.50! Teach your kids the value of money with this great gift. http://www.learningresources.com/pr...ic&keyword=pennies&sortby=bestSellers&page=1&
I remember using plastic coins in early elementary school for math projects. Real coins would have been more fun. I guess they were afraid the kids would have stole the real thing?
When I was in elementary school we didn't even have pennies. We had to try to count using the barter system. Try doing that with chickens and sheep, bolts of cloth, butter and eggs.
Hopefully not targeting economics teachers. Even most 5-9 year olds know the math doesn't fly on this one. $4.50 + shipping versus a 100% refundable investment of $1.00 for the real thing?
LOL, with shipping, it's $11.45: http://www.learningresources.com/ba...00518/100633/100634/100639/104857&from=detail
