Ok..Start off with some simple brushing.Instead of just using your paint bucket tool to color it, select the Brush tool and select a pattern brush. (not the dots) If you don't have any brushes, go to www.deviantart.com and search Photoshop brushes. As soon as you download and install your brushes just brush your back ground with a neutral color - I always use gray. After you're finished brushing you can now color your back ground. Do this by going to the option of Hue and Saturation. When you open that menu, click the option colorize and play with the bars until you get what you want.Press ok. And you should have some kind of back ground. This is obviously very simple - it's just to get you started.____________________________________________________________Another back ground you could do is the Clouds bg.Go to: Filter > Render > CloudsThis will make clouds with the colors you have in your pallette - the default is black and white - you can change it to anything you want. ____________________________________________________________Overall, just try to experiment with all of the different menus and filters - thats how I learned, or even try to go to www.good-tutorials.net.Hope that helped in starting you off.

www.dafont.com is by far the best site for fonts, www.pixel2life.com is the best for tutorials also. Anything you want to know about Photoshop can be learned there.
