I mean everyone always seems to gasp when a name is mentioned as a possible trade candidate. Its even more amazing that some wouldnt want a guy like iggy just to part with bayless or rudy. Take a long hard look at tonights game and you see that other tehn shooting threes.. Rudy is nothing special and tahts when his shot is falling. Bayless on the other hand is a decent player but he will never have a consistent jumper. Listen im not here to single out any players but lets just say the Batum lovefest cant die... who else besides roy and batum arent we able to part with for a legit upgrade?

Watching tonight has made it perfect;y clear... no trade.. no playoffs. This team is just average at best even with roy back.

Roy and Batum are definite keepers.

This. Though I wish our entire roster was untouchable. Get on it KP!

Back on the Batum bandwagon MIX? Do you still think he has no chance of starting at 3?

When there are players in the league that are better than your best player, NO ONE on your roster is untouchable.

Mediocre Man speaks the truth. If LJames, DHoward, or CP3 were available, you don't trade Brandon or Nic. Really?

Nobody on this team is untouchable anymore, but players available seem to provide no improvement.

    BAKE IT!

You don't give up Nic for Howard or CP3? WOW! is all I can say.

I'm one of the biggest Batum homers around here, and my belief that he would be a star goes back to last year. That said, how can you not trade a potential star/superstar for a proven superstar, particularly at positions of need?

If the option were there, I'd trade Roy for CP3 - heck, I'd even throw Blake in there as well to get CP3. Yes, Roy is very good, I think CP3 is better and does more for the team as a whole.

Of course, I don't know how Nate would adjust to having CP3 rather than Roy. CP3's game is not really suited for doing ISO's so I guess we'd have to have EVERYONE participating in the offensive scheme. Heck, for that matter, if we brought CP3 in he would, de-facto, be the offense coach as that position seems to be largely lacking on the Blazers.

I think it's a little early to call Batum "untouchable".

I'm with others in favor of trading anyone for a clear upgrade so I also don't see anyone as untouchable.
