here's the clip: http://watch.tsn.ca/clip260931#clip260931 -i didnt watch the clip last night because i had to leave to do something after the game but watching it this morning i kinda think hedo was upset with jack. maybe jack bashing him in games and on his radio show might have irked hedo.
I dunno... he keeps repeating that he wants to have the ball in his hands and be the point guard-forward like he was in Orlando... I don't know if we really need yet another floor general when Triano likes to play Calderon and Jack together so much. I guess there is a chance Hedo is irked by Jack's criticisms but they have all been fair. If anything Jack is too kind.
here's the you tube version:
hedo is becoming an icon in the city for all the wrong reasons. general question for rap fans- arent chris bosh, hedo, caledron and bargnani the most recognizable athletes in the city right now? roy halladay is gone and i dont think most ppl could pick out anyone else on the jays roster, save maybe vernon wells. and the leafs have no one who ppl know. these four guys i mentioned always have their mug on tv and are very outspoken when they speak (e.g. hedo and bargs)
I don't think I can name three players from the Leafs, Argos, or Jays. I know a few TFC players. Bosh is the most recognizable Toronto athlete and I suppose Bargnani and Calderon would be right behind him. Hedo maybe not so much because he is new.
Basketball players will always be recognizable because of their height. Sam Mitchell is probably more recognizable than Triano from those Ford Edge commercials.
i think the pizza pizza commercial has elevated hedo into icon status. a commercial that stupid hasnt hit the toronto sports scene since robbie alomar's "catch the taste commercial": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnu9DCLJtRE
^ OMG wow, haven't seen that since it aired... I'm old enough to remember that... Robbie Alomar... now I want some fruit punch.
we're the same age and i remember that as well. the score was having fun with that commercial recently. do u remember how every single girl in elementary school and their mother was in love with robbie alomar when he was in town? i also remember how that love fizzled when he posed as the sunshine boy and the ladies didnt like what they say.
Not being in Toronto I guess there were some things I missed such as that... but yeah, he was a pretty boy.
