Yeah I applied. They're accepting already? That's strange I thought it was spring. We'll see what happens, UCR is ghetto so they'll probably accept me.
UCR is like my safety school. Apparently everyone gets accepted there lol But yeah, I heard it is hella ghetto. It's not my top choice either.
UCSD. Shape, do you know if UCR is a respectable university in the working field? It seems like it has a lot of negative stigma around it. I have a couple of friends that go there though, and they say it isn't as bad as most people make it out to be.
I'm going to go on more extensive visits once I get my acceptances. I visited UCSD, but we sort of just drove through it on our way. Honestly I wasn't too impressed by the campus, I thought it was kind of ugly, but its prestige makes up for it I guess. I've heard UCI's campus is very nice though, but I haven't visited it yet.
UCSD's campus isn't anything to write home about, but San Diego and the smaller cities surrounding it are great. I think you'll enjoy the experience.
UCI is the fuckin shit. I go to CSUF for the business program there. Riverside is pretty ghetto. I grew up in the Chino-Riverside-Corona area, a little bit of Montclair too, although I was born in Pasadena. Shape and I are in Irvine, come holla at your boys when you do a campus visit (Also if you like asian chicks, UCI is where its at)
I have a question for you guys, as I recall many of you are quite big football fans (not soccer). How should I get started to understand that game?;D I remember I learned the basic NBA knowledge by playing NBA Live when I was little, do you think buying a NFL related game would have the same effect? I don't see myself learning the game by reading Wikipedia or something. ;D That game isn't very popular where I come from but I've always wanted to understand the game more...
