"Terrible pass by New Orleans" is an incredible understatement, considering it was basically responsible for destroying the rest of their season (if that knee injury to Paul is truly going to sideline him for two months).

I feel bad for Chris Paul. And as for the Blazers' ramifications, it weakens only one of the 10 or 11 teams with legitimate chances at the postseason, so it's not like it's making a huge difference. Blazers still have the Rockets, Grizzlies, Jazz, Spurs, Suns, etc., to worry about.

Hope he heals up quick but they still miss the playoffs. I think we'll be better than 3 of those bubble teams which would mean we'd make the playoffs.

I wish the NBA would do a better job protecting their guys. Having a slew of photographers with their massive cameras on the baseline is ridiculous. Push them back from the court and place some sort of padded barrier between the fans so the players could really go it on plays along the endlines and the game would benefit in more ways then one.

what a bummer to lose a talent like CP

This is why the league needs to shorten the season. By the end of the season half the league is going to be injured. Get better Paul!!

I haven't seen the play, but I totally agree that having all the photogs down there on the end line is a real safety hazard. Seems like every other game a player steps on them and nearly turns an ankle...or worse.

A little companionship in your time of sorrow?

Casual sex with strangers is not the answer to your problems. In the morning Paul will still be injured, the guys you slept with won't respect you and you'll feel like a cheap whore. You have to ask yourself, is it worth it?

OT - Chris Paul out at least a month.

We dont play New Orleans again until March 27th. He'll probably be back by then.

To late. All the tools in my league rejected all my last second trade offers! Now I will slowly watch my lead disappear!

I don't usually do the sig thing but between THE's "I BETTER GO TRY TO SCREW SOME GUYS" and Nate's "You don't play the way we want to play" gems, I may have to reconsider.

We'll see how the arthroscopic surgery turns out. He may, in fact, end up having microfracture.
