I'm just glad this place isn't like LG. Every game they call for Bynum's head, in fact, yesterday there was a thread saying to sit Bynum because he started 0-2!

Bynum has put up 17 and 9 this month of January, which is pretty damn good. Now we're in February and in Memphis. I think this is a big mental hurdle for Bynum tonight. Pull through it.

Also, there is another interesting topic over @ LG asking posters what they prefer: A dominant Bynum or a dominant Gasol. Surprisingly, Bynum has the lead over Gasol in a run away. Bynum has about 77% of the vote. Thoughts?

I didn't understand the poll at LG to be honest. If either one of them is dominant the Lakers are going to have success. What we're all waiting for is both to be dominant simultaneously.

BTW what happened to Gasol's sure hands? He's had Kwame-itus the past few games.

He's in a shell right now, I don't get it. I doubt we'll see both being great @ the same time, there just isn't enough room in the post.

A point I did like that was made was that Gasol is a very effective 3rd option (11 and 11 last night) who can create his opportunities better than Bynum can. We could be damn scary if Drew keeps this up and Gasol can continue to put in double digit points and rebounds. I don't expect both to put up 18 and 10, but one has to put up something around there and the other has to put up somethign around 12 and 10.

I think they can both dominate at the same time. There's plenty of field goal attempts Kobe could defer if they both had it going on the inside. Things are looking positive though.
