    congrats. even if you dont like him, being the leading scorer on a storied franchise like the Lakers with some of the all-time greats. It's truly something special.

    However, I do find it at least somewhat fitting and ironic that he got 44 (West's number) the night he passed Jerry, and passed Jerry against the Grizzlies, a team Jerry used to run.
