I sure hope Nic keeps coming off the bench. That makes the most sense.

Oh my god. Barrett asks Rice: "when are people going to start asking for Nic in the starting lineup?

Rice: "you can't do that to webster, he had such a great january"

WOW!! Yes, actually, you can do that to Webster. Like, tomorrow.

yeah, I'm just saying the rookies on the team make some of the same mistakes.

5 Blazers in double figures, none of them scoring over 20. Great distribution of the shots.

    Actually, six.

Bayless, Aldridge, Webster, Cunningham, Batum, and Rudy.

This forum is totally Chalupa-ist... What did those poor chalupas ever do to you? It is lame when the loudest cheer of the game is for the chalupa...but I still appreciate having the coupons in my truck after a long night of enjoying adult beverages...

Thank you Nate for staying with Miller, Rudy, Cunningham, Aldridge, and Batum in the fourth quarter.

But what the fuck, I don't care if you're a 17 year old rookie, everyone by now knows NEVER TRY TO SCORE IN THAT SITUATION. Not smart, which seemed to be the theme of the night.

You should complain that the Blazers put up a video on the jumbo tron encouraging the crowd to chant for Chalupas whenever they get within four points if it isn't a close game.

I think it's just symbolic, a milestone, like putting in the human cigar when the game is in hand. It's kind of related to those BS statistics, like "Team A wins 90% of the time when they score 100 points", yeah, duh, if you score a lot of points you usually win. 100 points almost always means a victory, and the chalupa is the cigar. I doubt most people actually turn in the coupons...or maybe they do...I don't. :dunno:

Anyway -- great win Blazers! I love the way everyone is on the Nico bandwagon at the moment. And he deserves it. I just hope they don't turn on him after he earns his big contract, LOL. That Rudy steal and length of the court pass to Nico for the score is the kind of thing I want to see...a lot.

Would have been a rather down and under move.

I stand corrected. Good catch. Our guys did a good job of sharing the ball. 21 assists this game, while we only had 9 the previous game.

Nate's talking now praising his guys' efforts of getting the ball up the floor....running.

    Go figure. ;)

I hate that as well. But it's worse when it's a close game vs a good team and the video isn't running yet the mouth breathers are chanting anyway. That drives me nuts.

He also said, in regards to running - "I feel like we've been talking about this forever"

    I found that interesting.

I missed big chunks of the game. Was there a particular reason Pendergraph got so little burn?
