In lieu of reports that phili is trying to sell off the big contracts of Dalembert and Iggy, and the fact that the Blazers just have toooo much talent, i propose this

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yh8b6br

    Portland in:

    Iggy and Dalembert

    Portland Out:

Blake, Outlaw, Pryz, Rudy, and Webs

I love love love this trade, could make us a contender again THIS YEAR, and set us up next year for the championship run. Dont say that "we are giving up too much" because to get talent you have to give up talent, plus the roster really needs thinning

    Potential 2010 lineup

    PG: Miller/Bayless
    SG: Roy/Iggy
    SF: Iggy/Batum

    (so 5 guards/forwards, 3 positions, good ratio :))

    PF: LMA/Cunningham
    C: Dalembert/Howard/Pendy

    Potential Next Year Lineup

    PG: Miller/Bayless
    SG: Roy/Iggy
    SF: Iggy/Batum
    PF: LMA/Cunningham
    C: Oden/Dalembert

    Comment away

I do like the thought of Miller/Roy/Iggy starting next to each other (it would beat the hell out of other teams physically) but under your trade there's no shooting left, you gotta keep one of martell or rudy along with Batum. Give up Bayless instead and keep Martell and you got yourself a very physical backcourt.

    Miller/Batum
    Roy/(Batum/Webster)
    Iguodala/Webster
    Aldridge/Howard
    Dalembert/Pendergraph

Nah, keep Bayless over Martell. I will take a guy who never doubts himself and is always high on confidence over a guy who doubts himself a lot. We still have decent enough shooting in Batum, Roy, Iggy is alright, and Bayless can get there. I just like his skill set more than Webster's.

With that said, we aren't making any blockbusters.

But all can shoot but miller. I'd probably do this trade if phili was down. But what do I know. I'm just a fan

Frankly I think that's a pretty lopsided trade in the Blazers favor. Philly would certainly like to get out from under Dalembert's contract, but for one thing, that's too many incoming players for too few roster spots (the Sixers are at 14 men right now) so they'd have to be willing to waive some of those incoming players, which kind of kills the deal since that means most likely shedding Blake and Outlaw and being left with Rudy (good!), Webs (not so good) and an injured Przy (bad) all on guaranteed deals (11-12 million worth) which sort of defeats the purpose of unloading Dalembert for them.

If you want Dalembert then you're probably going to have to forget about Iggy.
