I swear, sometimes our guards just think it is 3-3. I mean, Kobe and Artest had awesome games but not once did they look to establish Pau or Drew. Even when Pau got his looks, he looked horrible again. What is up with not establishing the post?
Artest doesn't command or control the ball here, this is more on Fisher, Kobe, Shannon and Farmar. In fact, Artest has made it a point to set Drew up in the post throughout the season.
Whatever happened to not caring about the regular season? As it is, it's a loss, oh well. I'll take 5-3 on the roady after starting it off 1-2. Memphis is a good team that's got potential to make noise in the playoffs if they get there. With Kobe now the getting the record, I expect him and the team to be at least a little more focused on winning, not just getting him the record.
Football season is over, I'm in Lakers' mode, now. It was a disgusting loss, but w/e. It was the last game of an 8 game road trip and the 2nd game of a back to back. Memphis barely beat us, we'd sweep them in the playoffs.
Memphis barely beat us with all our big men in foul trouble (including Ron Ron). Despite that, we were one open 3 from winning the game. One open 3 from going 6-2 on a road trip that started as bad as it could've started. I'll take it What IS painful, is watching our PG rotation play. Ugh!
This its irrelevant what this team does in the reg season...I think Kobe should sit for 2 weeks actually
You guys should check out the Blazer forum...they're acting like we just pissed away game 7 of the Finals.
They're scared. They know their luck against us in Portland is over on Saturday. They're also scared that Drew made it out of January with no injuries.
The most disgusting part of last night's game was PJax subbing Luke Walton in to defend against Rudy Gay.
