I agree with Gasol's comments. Kobe has been taking some low percentage shots and isn't taking advantage of the Lakers size on the inside by dumping the ball in and allowing the offense to work inside-out. This happened quite a bit last season too, but come playoff time Kobe completed altered his approach and the Lakers pounded the ball inside more frequently. The baskets the Lakers get when the offense is run through Gasol are a lot easier looking than some of the shots Kobe throws up.

Good for Gasol. Now grow a pair of nuts and do it in game, not after the game. And he really has no room to talk right now, he was down right putrid on this road trip. He needs a pair of nuts, bad.

It sucks he comes with this criticism right before we play them, when they will now undoubtedly pound the ball inside against us.

Nobody on that team has the right to call out Kobe! Whether you like him or not you can't question him as a player. They must not be really cool with each other off the court if he said this to the media.

Gasol: (“I’m proud of him; I congratulate him”) before adding the kicker: “Now we can focus on winning games again.”

Jackson: Bear in mind that Phil Jackson was a little miffed at Bryant on his historic night, too. Jackson told the team at halftime, when Bryant had 23 of the Lakers’ 50 points, that Bryant was “forcing the action.” Jackson also said in the halftime locker room, alluding to the 29 points Bryant needed in the game to pass Jerry West: “Let’s get him over the hump, so we can play team ball again.”

The anal rapist has always put personal stats and records above team success.

    Nothing new here.

But... they lost ONE GAME on the road by two points to a pretty good team.

Doesn't this mean that his entire career has been a sham, and that he should stop trying to score the basketball at the level he always have?
