    Definitely. He would allow Aldridge to move to C, and we wouldn't lose any rebounding.

    Yeah, he's a pretty high IQ ball player too that is multi skilled. would take us up a notch...definitely.

    They need some PGs though....Blake would be perfect in a package for them really. If we could do a package with Blake + Webster/Bayless + ??? for Jamison, that would be pretty money.

    I read it that the Wizards asked for Rudy for Haywood, because they are seeking real assets in return for him, just like with Jamison.

    That's exactly what I was going to post. The blurb seemed to be about Haywood, with a reference to how Washington also wants useful assets for Jamison.

    Well I'd consider Rudy for Haywood a pretty equitable swap. Certainly Rudy is more dynamic, than Brendan, but Haywood plays a harder position to fill. A Blake + Rudy swap for Haywood works, but I wonder if this rumor is just a rehash of the supposed Rudy + Nic for Haywood swap.

    You mean trading one guy who is young and has a long future, for a guy who's in his 30's, and magically having a career year in a contract year?

    "magically having a career year?" I'm not sure what you're talking about. The only thing that's different for Haywood this year is his minutes, his PER 40 numbers and PER are right in line with the rest of his career numbers -- and he's only 30 which isn't exactly ancient, and Rudy at nearly 24 isn't exactly a super young.

    This is a trade I make in the blink of an eye.

    Probably more in terms of trading small for big, or trading a redundant piece for one that we really need.

    i think we get a deal done with the wizards.

    blazers wont trade rudy cause hes not only a fan fave but from a marketing stand point... he sells lots of merchandise esp with woman.
