I'm assuming by "this team" you mean injury-riddled 2010 roster:

Kevin Love with Miller, Rudy, Batum and LMA would be devastating on the boards/fastbreak.
Boris Diaw would be kind of fun as an intelligent, half-court savvy 4.
    Is Chris Kaman eligible?
I like Darren Collison. Smart, 4yr college player who puts defense and passing first, but can blow by you if you don't pay attention.

Robin Lopez. Though, he's played himself out of attainability. The guy is going to be solid.

Wow it's amazing what happens when young players are given minutes on the court to learn isn't it? Now if we could only get that to happen here.

Yeah, young guys never get minutes here. Roy. LMA. Rudy. Batum. They've all failed from lack of minutes.

    1. Just because those guys got minutes doesn't mean more couldn't be.

    2. WTF are you talking about with Rudy? All Blakes minutes should be his and Bayless, and he hasn't developed nearly fast enough IMO. He could be well baked by now if they would just cut Blake out of the lineup.

    3. The only reason Batum got minutes is because Webster broke his foot. Once again Nates hand is forced, and he benefits.

    4. Who wouldn't have played Roy? Duh.

    5. Aldridge constantly lost minutes to players not worth a fuck his first 2 years.

Lopez is finally getting minutes after a year and a half in the league, so don't act like what they're doing with him is great, but what Portland has done with Bayless is different.

WTF am I talking about with Rudy? I'm talking about a rookiee getting 26 minutes a night on a 54 win team. WTF are you talking about? Amazing what happens when he gets minutes, no?

Bullshit forced hand. If he didn't want to play rookies, he could have started Outlaw all season, and signed someone to play backup. Or signed someoen to start. He started Batum, and didn't have to. Another rookie, getting goo dminutes on a 54 win team. Amazing what happens, no?

Who did LMA lose out on minutes to his second year?

Maybe someone wouldn't have played Roy. I dunno. Guys picked all around him didn't play much. I would think a dumb coach like ours wouldn't play him. But he did. Amazing what happens, no?

I'm sick of this not playing young guys bullshit that has been tossed around the last few years as if it is fact with Nate.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I'd go with Okafor, Gortat, Varejao, Noah or Haywood.

As you can see, front court depth is where I'd like to focus new complementary pieces. Bayless and Batum have made me feel more secure about the 1 and 3 spots.

I might consider Durant. Third option behind Roy and Oden, therefore a role-player for the purposes of this thread. :)
