"GodMode" for Windows 7 http://scforum.info/index.php?topic=3544.0 http://wingeek.com/articles/40507/windows-7-god-mode-mythbusting/
Yea, definitly a virus, You will need to change registry settings but that might be blocked like it was for me. I couldnt figure it out after looking into it for like 2 weeks, so i just re-installed windows 7
If you hold the Windows key and then press the tab button once, you can scroll through each window (make sure you keep your thumb the Windows key). Just keep clicking the Tab key to rotate between the different windows.
So, in Windows 7, Win+Tab now does what Alt+Tab has always done? That's going to be very annoying to get used to for the first couple weeks whenever I upgrade...
Nope, not true. Alt + Tab still does the normal cycling between windows (which I frequently use), but Windows + Tab gives some nice eye candy but provides the exact same function as Alt + Tab.
Ah, I see. I guess I'll have to try it whenever I finally get 7. Thanks--my apprehension level has lessened.
Yes, trust me, Windows 7 is great even if you're a Windows OS veteran. There isn't much that annoys me in Windows 7, besides some of the Compatibility issues and Control Panel's layout.
I agree. Windows 7 is amazing. MUCH MUCH better than any of the previous versions. It's so good that its made me forget about ditching PC's and going with a Mac.
I was in your same shoes. I was close to giving in and buy a Mac but Windows 7 kept me faithful! I don't have many issues with Windows 7, and if I do, they are generally pretty minuscule compared to the ones I had with Vista/XP/2000/98/etc.. Overall, it's a great OS and should be an immediate upgrade if you have the resources.
I think Windows 7 suffers from memory leaks. I have to reboot both my laptop and my workstation at the office every few days to get all the free RAM back. For a kick ass addon, google dexpot.
Yes, I've noticed the same issue. I have quite a meaty computer, but if my rig goes into Sleep mode for more than five hours it will be temperamental until I restart. I haven't experienced that with XP. It could be (is) considered a big deal, but it doesn't bother me much. It is good to give your computer a nice restart every now and then.
