Has anyone read this book or does anyone plan to see the movie.I just got it on the weekend and I think it is awesome. It is jam packed with information and useful facts that you may not have known. I really like adventure books so I like this. I think all the codes and stuff are very interesting. I cant put the book down and I am only 1/4 of the way through.Anyway, if you like to read and you havnt read this book you should go pick it up. It is really good.Thoughts?
Not everything in the book is fact, a lot of it can be debated, loved the book and the movie looks good.
Ya that is the problem I have with the book it is not all facts, much of it is the author's theories.

I've never read it so I don't know, I just have preconceived ideas about it so I choose to be ignorant and mock him for liking it
Someone killed a caretaker of a museum. They think that this guy (Robert Langdon) killed him so they bring him into the Louvre where the crime happened to question him, but they dont tell him that he is a suspect. Some girl (Sophie Neveu) tells him that they think he is a suspect so they try to expect. The officer dudes put a GPS system on Langdon so they ditch the tracker dot and then go another way. Thats basically where I am but the caretaker is a brother in some sort of secret organization and he is trying to tell the 2 what it is through certain codes. Sophie Neveu is the caretakers granddaughter too so that helps. On the other hand, this weird dude with red eyes (Silas) is a part of this weird religion where they torture themselves for pleasure. He actually killed the caretaker so he could find out where a "keystone" is. He goes into this cathedral to try to retrieve the keystone. Thats basically where I am.

Its very complicated but it is a very good book. If you like to read, you should ask your friend to borrow it.
