"It's disappointing, but I think there have to be some dramatic changes made next season," said Bogut, the No. 1 pick in the 2005 National Basketball Association draft. "It's all I can hope for, that there will be some changes and we'll see what happens. "There are logjams at certain spots. Certain guys aren't playing that probably could play more. It's very tough, because we have a lot of great players coming off the bench. "We just need to clean some things up. The core is obviously three or four guys, but we need to clean up those other role players. I wish I had played a more important role this year, but it didn't work out like that. Hopefully that's what is going to happen next year. I'll be unhappy if it doesn't. "It's tough coming in here and having high expectations. I don't think I played well all year. I don't think I played basketball like I could, and my confidence went downhill. You just run up and down the court, rebounding and setting screens. That's just the way it was, and I had to deal with it. "I think I handled it professionally, so we'll see if there are some changes made. I think I can help this team much more, but that's not up to me." I agree but having a team bench is important. Bogut was kept out of the offense way too much, it was ridiculous.

I agree with eveything he said, just not the fact he said it. He needs to keep his mouth shut. Did he forget he was a rookie? Talk to the GM not the media.

The reporter asked him a question, he answered it honestly. I see no problem, I don't like it when players shut up.

Does he think this will help him get a bigger role?

I don't see how it would hurt his chances in all honesty.

I think it could cause some animosity. If he is looking to get more playing time he should stop getting into foul trouble.

I like Bogut and I like the Bucks, but Bogut seems like such an ***hole, to be honest. First he rips Kobe, then he rips all former Aussie players, including Luc Longley who won championships, saying they were underacheivers. He thinks he is all that and that he can say what he wants and walk all over people. Well, he cant. And young fella, you are a rookie. Sure you are the #1 pick, but that doesn't mean you are instantly a huge part of an NBA offense.

Sorry, it just bugs me when guys, especially rookies, talk like this. So he's basically saying he wants to have the ball in his hands a lot more next year or he won't be happy. You just don't say that as a rookie at all.

What is the guys' problem? The Bucks went from the the 1st draft pick to the playoffs. Settle down lad. Of course they will improve, just keep your mouth shut.Good to see that he doesnt settle for much, playing wise though. Thats a good thing. I wish Charlie V was more like that.

:boxin: You go get um Bogut! It was ridiculous how Bogut was used last year by Stotts. You had Bogut and Magloire two big men than can DEMAND the ball down low and the Bucks settled for jumpshots. I agree with Bogut that he needs to be more involved. They are getting rid of Magloire in a few days will help Bogut become the starting Center.

Now we just need to get Bogut a solid PF, I like Joe Smith but he's better off the bench.
