2005-06 T-Mobile NBA ALL-ROOKIE FIRST TEAM Player Team First (2 pt) Second (1 Pt) Total Chris Paul New Orleans 29 - 58 Charlie Villanueva Toronto 27 2 56 Andrew Bogut Milwaukee 26 3 55 Deron Williams Utah 18 10 46 Channing Frye New York 17 11 45 2005-06 T-Mobile NBA ALL-ROOKIE SECOND TEAM Player Team First (2 pt) Second (1 Pt) Total Danny Granger Indiana 14 15 43 Raymond Felton Charlotte 14 12 40 Luther Head Houston 4 20 28 Marvin Williams Atlanta - 15 15 Ryan Gomes Boston - 14 14 Other players receiving votes, with point totals (first place votes): Sarunas Jasikevicius, Indiana, 12 (1); Ike Diogu, Golden State, 8; Nate Robinson, New York, 7; Rashad McCants, Minnesota, 6; Johan Petro, Seattle, 6; Jose Calderon, Toronto, 3; Jarrett Jack, Portland, 3; Joey Graham, Toronto, 2; Martell Webster, Portland, 2; Salim Stoudamire, Atlanta, 1.I agree with the results for the most part and all I have to say is way to go Ryan Gomes! Steal of the draft pick #50, should have been a 1st rounder (and was projected one on mock drafts). Raymond Felton was robbed, he deserved it over Deron Williams, IMO. But this rookie class is has a bright future ahead of them!

Gosh, Mavfan is going to be pissed that Josh Powell didnt make 1st team. [IMG] Now that I look at it, this was a really deep draft.

why was luther head picked over nate? i'm not saying this because i'm a knicks fan but nate averaged more points shot better and played less minutes than head did.

Nice picks. There shouldn't be many arguements with that other than Sarunas maybe should have made a team.

Yeah i think that those were pretty accurate. I personally think that Raymond had a better season than Deron. When he got playing time, he did really well for the cats.

He also switched positions.

Yeah, I think Sarunas should've been picked, he had a decent rookie year.

I pretty much agree with those selections. If Rashad McCants would have played the whole year the way he played in the 2nd half he would have been on that list for sure. McCants was amazing down the stretch for the Timberwolves. He was one of the few bright spots on the roster this year.

The awards seem fair. I agree with Ray Felton over Deron Williams, and Sarunas Jasikevicus over Luther Head.

I'd like to see an actual midget make it to the NBA, that'd be sick

I'm sure Isiah Thomas would sign a midget...... seeing as it wouldn't hurt the team, but it would help the ratings.
