Hes questionable for tomorrow. Quick said roy looked good in practice moving normally. However roy said he still felt a little pain. Roy said if there was a game tonight he wouldnt play. Roy said he will decide at tomorrows shoot around if he plays. Sounds like (from quick) the team is leaning towards letting roy sit till Tuesday so he has extra days. There's also been NO talk for shutting roy down till after all star break. Roy said even if he can play 1 game before break hes going to do it.

Bayless wasnt at practice. Both are questionable.

Translation... Roys likely out. Do we have enough magic for an upset vs the lakers???? The good news is Kobe is having a ankle issue and if he tweaks it tonight... im sure kobe sits tomorrow.

I'm undecided on whether Phil would tank the PDX game just out of spite, or if he tells K*be that if he doesn't personally destroy Portland he's going to make him read another book on rape in Mid-Century Montana.

Either way, I'm predicting a high-scoring win for us.

We need to wrap our head around the idea we're not going to have Brandon against LAL. That's the only way to prepare.

We've beaten the Lakers 9 straight times in Portland. Even without Roy we're a 9 to 1 favorite.

Dang. I was hoping for better news than that about Roy. It's hard to imagine he's going to play tomorrow if the hammy is still bothering him today - it's just too risky. Oh well, maybe we'll just keep whistling through the graveyard and ride this unlikely trend of knocking off the better teams in the league with our best players watching from the sidelines :dunno:

Normally, I'd say Roy's absence would be devastating against the Lakers. However, the way this team has been playing lately, I believe anything is possible tomorrow night.

If he doesn't play, I don't think we beat the Lakers.

Dang if Roy doesn't play that will be tough. Even though Bayless isn't as good as Roy, it will also be tough without him because he is a nice option as well. We need a total team effort tomorrow.

If Batum is primarily responsible for guarding Kome, how many cheap shots will Kome inflict on Nico, will any be called fouls on Kome, and how many will actually be called on Nico? I predict at least two cheap Kome elbows (that are actually caught on tape), one called a foul on Nico, none on Kome.

quick suggested if both roy and bayless are out that blake would start...why not rudy? or move martell to 2, and batum at the 3 like the end of last nights game?

That was my fear. I figured Nate would start Blake. My preference would be Miller, Martell, Nico, with Nico guarding Kome. Second would be Miller, Rudy, Martell and bring in Nico early (and late). Nate will probably figure Blake has a lot of experience on Kome, and Blake does manage to piss Kome off pretty regularly, LOL.

    My Hero!

Did you see Nico streaking up the court ahead of everyone else after the block? It would have been sweet if someone had gotten him the ball.

i think he wants to keep rudy on the bench so he is a spark plug....with rudy starting there is not much on the bench except batum....still i would love to see both martell and batum start
