Chris Richard is filling in nicely so far... I bet he gets more minutes than the 15 or so Tyrus go the last couple, even with Noah sidelined.

    As to the suspension
    :
Both coach Del Negro and Coach Hunter are pissed, it seems.

I was wondering where he was tonight. It's really a shame Tyrus isn't just a little bit better. If he was he'd get away with some of this stuff and the bulls would be a better team. But he's just bad enough that other than other guys having to play more minutes, the bulls aren't going to miss him.

I don't know what he said or was frustrated about but if it was over not playing enough minutes in the Hawks game, I'd agree with him. Thomas hasn't been given the minutes he deserves and i think VDN isn't using him right. I thought Richard filled in really well for him though and hope he gets more than a 10 day contract

I wonder if it's possible for Thomas to sue the Bulls. He's in a contract year and they're both not playing him to showcase his skills. They may also be talking about him in a way that's slanderous or libelous.

It's clear they intend to let him walk to recoup some cap space and increase the team's profitability. They could just buy him out if they were decent people.

Yeah, I'm not seeing any grounds for a suit. Of course, that doesn't stop such things from happening.

I don't think he's going to turn it around with another team. He seems to me to have way too fragile a personality for the NBA. He's really need an absolutely wonderfully perfect and supportive environment for him. I think the Bulls could have done better, but I'm not sure that any team could really provide what he'd need.

Dude has had run ins with every coach he's ever had. I think he's got a problem with coaches in general.

You mean like Scott Skiles? There was a telling line in one of the stories about how Tyrus has trouble with male authority figures in general. I think he's just hard headed. He's getting out played by a rookie most nights, albeit a rookie who is almost a year and a half older by now, but Tyrus still seems to have a lot of growing up to do.

TT ain't that far from turning it around IMHO. He puts up a 15 PER and his net +/- has been positive the last 3 years.

I think that’s a pretty accurate summary (from KC). The time to win with Tyrus was when he came back. Coach Vinny and the rest wanted no party of him, and at this point it’s too late.

Here’s hoping we can get something, anything for him. I keep seeing that the Nets wanna trade Chris Douglas-Roberts.
