Soares needs to shut up and stop trying to control who Silva fights.

He has a point, Maia did beat Sonnen, but that was like a year ago. I think Soares is only trying to protect Silva from wrestlers, or maybe wrestlers(Hendo/ Sonnen) just happen to be the last 2 contenders that have been served to Silva, aside from Belfort, who is a striker, and Silva has no problems facing.

You don't see any other champ's managers out there throwing out guidelines and matches that need to happen in order to get a shot.

This is the 2nd time he has pulled this shit. Dana came out and said the winner of Sonnen/Marquardt gets Silva. Sonnen should get Silva.

If Ed Soares had his way Anderson Silva wouldn't be fighting Vitor Belfort--but he is. It leads me to believe he doesn't have any pull.

Maia and Sonnen don't need to fight again. Marquardt was the gatekeeper--Maia failed and Sonnen succeeded.
