Today's team of interest is the Magic:
I think the Bulls are basically in a holding pattern. They seem to be cultivating options to dump either Salmons or Hinrich or both, and could do so on a moment's notice.

I think they haven't yet because they're waiting to see if something bigger turns up. I tend to think teams aren't really serious until next week

Thats usually what happens. Deals are talked about here and there, and outrageous offers are made but then the week of the deadline everybody starts talking serious.

Why would a team want to do us a favor by taking on big contracts of players who aren't winners?

Seems like several teams are willing.

Seems like the Bulls call teams and they're not biting.

I guess the Wizards were the most reluctant to part with possibly the best player on their team (maybe 2nd). Im at the point where I dont think the bulls are gonna make a move unless GarPaxDorf has something up their sleeve

Detroit sure seemed to be in a hurry to help the bulls out last summer...

I guess it would really depend on what TMac's got left in the tank, but like I was saying in the other thread, it seems like a risk to me.

Especially with Noah out, does that make any sense? We trade two bigs who are playing for us for a guy who may not even be able to beat out Kirk or Fish?

True, but that still wouldnt be trading kirk or salmons, we could always swing a second deal for a serviceable big man
