That's pretty specific. If you don't want to read the evidence I can't help you. Lot's of no deals.

Don't worry though, we have a pile of assets. We'll make a trade this summer when we have a major advantage over all the other teams looking to dump salary.

I think the biggest complaint about KP (or at least my biggest complaint) is that he just seems so full of empty bluster. He's made countless comments about 'being aggressive' or 'burning through cell phone batteries' in the past few years. To me that isn't aggressiveness, that's just making a shitload of calls and talking a lot. True aggressiveness means taking risks, and actually consummating deals. To date I can't point to a single high-risk, high-reward deal that KP has made, and the only high profile trade he did make (Zach for Frye and Francis) was more of a salary dump than anything else.

He's either leveraged Allen's pocketbook to purchase draft picks or he blew up the roster on draft night in 2006, since then he's either remarkably passive at best or impotent at worst.

I think Kevin is a pretty good talent evaluator, and has done a decent job in the draft, but there's been very little evidence that he's much good at the other half of the talent acquisition game in the NBA, which is performing trades.

I never said he passed on a deal. What does that have to do with anything?

I'm pretty sure he's allowed to present deals as well no?

We've been told several times now that we'd really be able to turn the screws this summer on all the other poor teams who don't have the plethora of assets or money we do, and then the trade deadline and then this summer and then the trade deadline and I have a feeling we'll be told "Just wait until this summer!!!!" about 10 days from now.

He either can't or won't make any moves. Either way it's not good enough.

The injuries this season are a perfectly good excuse for not winning games, but not for not improving the team for now and the future.

I fully backed KP until the trade deadline passed without a whimper last season. The red flags were flying high that night. IN fact, I still backed him then with the promise of a productive summer.

    But alas....

As of right now, My Gm has NO history of making an inseason move to improve my team.

    This mirrors my thoughts exactly.

Dude talks a good game but never gets much done outside of the draft.

KP doesn't suck or anything. He just started off really strong and has faded ever since.

    Hi, it's me again.

"There are things I would like to do," Pritchard said. "But it comes down to what we have to give up. I'm torn with that all the time. There are deals that could be done today, but it goes back to that thing: We're going to give two, three, four players for one. I know those players mean more to us than that trade."

ie, we are never going to make a trade.

Yeah, I read Quick's article earlier ... book it folks, when KP starts stating publicly that players have come to him and requested that he not trade anybody, it doesn't mean that anybody necessarily did, but it does mean he's priming you for the inevitable, impending, non-deal.

Wow. KP blamed the Zach trade on the fact a key player told him to trade Zach. Now he is setting up the non-trade by saying players asked him not to trade?

If KP trades or doesn't trade, he shouldn't drag the players into it. Even if he is dong what players want (it really should be his decision), it should come across as him making the decision.

It's like he almost needs to justify his actions (or non actions) and he is using his players to do that.

Apparently, this deal is about to go down soon. Normally, I'd be pissed about a big market team pulling off a potential sweep of superstars (T-Mac + 2 max contract 2010 free agents), but just this moment I'm going to empathize with everything they've gone through as a fan. Tomorrow, I'll hate on them. T-Mac could still suck ass, but he won't hurt the free agent market there.

haha.. New York is already giving up on their lottery pick bust Jordan Hill. Nice. They could've had Jennings or even DeRozan.
