Close, but not quite. Blake missed his last 5 FGA, after starting 7-7. His GmSC ended up at 24.8 - tied for the 3rd highest GmSC of his career.

3 of his top 5 games have come against Phoenix.

And 2 of his top 6 came against Portland when he played for Denver (including his other 24.8 GmSc game).

Over hearing it on TV. He said 'Fuck' after he was fouled again after missing a FT. MB probably heard it too since he laughed when Andre said it.

so what you're saying is...Steve should play the Suns or Portland for 82 games a year and he'd be all world.

It's actually crazy typo of the night. One of those blocks belongs to Nic at least.

Very impressive statement by the Blazers tonight after that debacle at home.

Well, an all-star anyway. It is odd that all but one of the 6 best games have come against the Suns and the Blazers. Well, not so odd about the Suns. Nash is an awful defender. So, it makes sense Blake would score more than usual against him.

Steve with the post game interview!

    Steve finishes with 20 pts on 7/12, 12 asts/1 TO's, 2 rbs, 2 stl, and 1blk in 38 minutes.

Nate had to rush Steve back in at the end of the game to steady the guys and hit ft's at the end.

    NICE GAME STEVE!

I don't know how a team can look so dumb one night and so together the next. Scrappy win for the team.

    Go Blazers

From the looks of it, I think he'll be okay. It appeared that Amare, rushing in for an offensive rebound, ran into Nic's shoulder. It didn't look too serious on the replay, but knowing our luck, I don't want to guess what the worst case scenario might be

Not to take away from what the guys did tonight, but the opponent(s) probably had a lot to do with it. OKC is a really, really good defensive team (5th in the league per possession) and the Suns are one of the worst defensive teams in the league. But hey, credit the Blazers for exploiting it, and for the pretty good defensive effort from the Blazers.

And it comes when Nate inserts him back into the starting line up after a terrible home loss.

    Isn't Nate a genius? :D

And the Blazers have trotted out some awful defensive PG's during that time, so Blake's remaining top games against them makes sense on the surface, too.
