The Celtics would be ridiculous if they can pull this trade off. Their starting 5 would be a lineup of All Stars and have a lot of lineup versatility. It also rocks Cleveland's world by preventing them from getting Jamison. If Cleveland fails again in the post season LeBron is likely gone. PG - Rondo SG - Butler SF - Jamison PF - KG C - Perkins
dont know if its that clear cut. caron butler is a paul pierce clone without the resume- i dont envision them playing together at the same time. i like jamison but i dont see where he fits on the celtics. kg is a lock at the four, perk or sheed at the five, pierce is a lock at the 2 or 3 and rondo is a lock at the one. at this point of his career- jamison doesnt have the foot speed to guard three's on a consistent basis, sure he can do it in spurts but over an extended period of time- his arse would get torched off the dribble. and lest we forget that ray allen was the best celtic last post off season. although, i would love if they made the trade and the wiz released ray upon completion of the trade and he signs with the cavs as a free agent for the rest of the season.
soooo none of this happened, the big 3 are showing their age (KG is DUN as an elite player, too much NBA mileage) Sheed turned into the older version of Matt Barnes and well this team is not getting past the Magic or the Cavs and possibly the Hawks too Ainge is staying pat, just like the C's management did 20+ yrs ago and well that worked out well didn't it? I am less than enthused about getting me first Nate Robinson too. Although he appears to play better team ball than he did the last few yrs.
