Contacting other schools about their vacate coaching positions sure doesn't sound like he wants to stay to me. Kind of a dumb move on his part, IMO. DePaul is a top tier job. You don't go to them, they come to you. His resume is not worthy of DePaul.
The guy's from the South Side. DePaul under Ray Meyer was a nationally recognized program. I imagine it would be the dream of a guy from Chicago to bring the program back to promenence.
I bet Bob De Carolis will have a big impact on making sure Craig Robinson stays with Oregon State. I bet CR will be resigned. This program has made good strides and I bet Carolis will make sure CR won't leave because of all the alumni giving input.
