I thought he'd play a token 3 minutes and then come out like he did a few years ago. I wonder who they get to replace him? Monta Ellis is injured, Bynum is injured
The NBA announced Thursday that Bryant will be replaced by Dallas point guard Jason Kidd(notes) on the Western Conference roster. Iverson’s spot in the Eastern Conference will be filled by New York forward David Lee(notes).
Thank goodness. There wasn't a point to him going and taking a spot from someone that's going to play more than the 3 minutes he would have. And I'm glad AI is stepping out as well. He didn't deserver it and I thought Lee was snub to begin with.
Is Kidd really deserving of a spot this year? There's still Aaron Brooks, Tyreke Evans, Monta Ellis (even though you could argue their records suck). And now that both Roy and Kobe are out, there's no real SG on the West squad, but 4 PGs.
Owned. By the way, if Kobe was shooting the last shot for the West, just out of pure curiosity, you guys think he makes it? Judging by how he has been thus far this season, injury or not, I think he does Just something fun to think about.
His shot selection would have definitely been better than Melo's Dunno what happened there, he's an excellent clutch shooter though
It's so sad that this is true I was sorely disappointed this year. The ASG and Rookie-Sophmore game were the best, whereas everything else (the big Saturday events) were forgettable.
