So this thread is what you all ask for. A different thread with no kpee bashing. So here ya go. How many wins do we finsih with. 27 games left starting tomorrow. I realize its tough to predict without knowing where roy is at. BUT assuming he returns by Friday or for the road trip, give me a record for the final 27. We are 31-24 today.

    I (mixum) say 48- 34

17-10... assuming roy is back soon.

i emailed rudy cee and he says 2-24

44-38 (barring any trades that significantly upgrade the frontcourt)

I'll also go with 17-10 the rest of the way, making it 48 wins.

I'm just basing it on the significant amount of creampuffs that are on the schedule for the rest of the season.

19-8, for a finishing record of 50-32. Sixth seed.

I doubt it will even take that many. My guess is that the ninth seed will probably finish with 41 to 43 wins.

    18-0

    Then another 18-0

Which would leave us leading by 1 in the WCF. After that, the crystal ball gets cloudy.

Given the uncertainty over Roy...46 wins.

You are turning into an optimist Mix. You've now decided they are 19 games better then you thought they would be in December?

I thought you believed we suck ass this year, based on this:

Maybe there's hope you will become a Blazers fan yet!

Hehe ... you are not wise to the ways of the "MIXED one", when the team (inevitably) fails to live up to this lofty goal, he'll have his 'piss and moan gun' fully reloaded with ammo. I'm actually a little in awe of how good he is at this.

What the hell are you talking about? You said the team would win 29 or less. They've won 31 before any trade. You're predicting 48 now. Whatever, as usual you are wrong by an order of magnitude, by why would anyone be surprised.

Yeah, it's pretty predictable. He sets up stupid expectations, then jumps all over it if they don't meet those. Otoh, when he makes a moronic statement like a 29 win season, it's crickets when he's wrong, again. Lucky there are people that remember the musings of such a great fan.
