    I never read Kite Runner, but I did read "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by the same author, which was also quite good. It's nice when a novel's back story grabs you in the manner that the actual plot should.

    A Thousand Splendid Suns was also a very good read, not as good as the Kite Runner but still worth reading.

    If you ever read the Kite Runner let me know what you think of it.
